Temperature drops and the neighborhood comes alive!
Yes that’s right the temp FINALLY dropped! We have been enjoying nice weekends of 70 as highs and 60 or so for the lows! During the week it jumps back up to good old 90+. We have noticed we have tons of neighbor kids! It looked barren most the time we have lived here. The cooler temps are brining people out! We have found ourselves right out there with our bikes more and taking Tasha to the nice dog park! SHE LOVES IT! We try to take her 2-3 times a week. CJ is being as cute as ever! He "talks" a lot. In fact there are times you can't hear anything else he is talking so loud! We just sit and laugh at the things he does. He loves playing with Dad's watch, Cell phone and his own feet. When we are shopping he loves to play with the list also! We have some pictures from when Grandma Dixie came to visit, plus a few more! Jessica is doing well in her classes. She had three test a few weeks ago and was stressing. When she got her scores back she ended up being top in all three classes! Jonathan is still looking for a job. Not many people are hiring down here. He has applied to Mesa City for a police and fire dispatcher job. We should now about that in the next week. It would be nice to have that job because it would be as much money as he was making with TWO jobs in Utah. Jonathan loves to cook so it is nice to have some homemade meals every night. We had an awesome Greek dinner the other night. Thanks for all your love and support everyone! We will try to keep this updated! Thanks again!

Storms from last week
First off we have some cute pictures of CJ that we will get on here soon. But to the adventure of last week! So there was a few storms that "blew" throw here last week and man was I surprised at how BIG they were. One night Jessica and I were just talking in the office. Lighting had been going on for about 2 hours. And what a show! I have never seen lighting like that in Utah. but without big mountains you can see it from far away. Any ways it starting raining. Then it starting REALLY raining. The winds were picking up and as I looked out our door I was watching as all the garbage was blowing in the grass area behind us. It was raining so hard that the puddles became ponds! In fact I even went outside to check to see if we were going to flood. If it would have kept raining like it did we would have. We had standing water on most of the west side and North side of the house. Later that night I was watching the news and the top stories were the storms. I could not believe how big it was. It pretty much went from the North Valley all they way down to the South end (About 70 Miles I would guess) The the hardest hit areas were just north of us by 3 or so miles and then Tempe (About 10 minutes west of us) It was such a bad storm for the area! I was waiting to see what the rain totals were going to be thinking it would be at least 5" of rain. Our area got 3.25" and the rest of the areas were about 1-2" I could not believe it. Down here the rain water has no where to go so it just sits there! To top it off it is 100 degrees outside so 100 + 52% humidity =MISERABLE! But from what the locals say this "season" will be over soon and it will start cooling off (80 is cooling off here) We are adjusting ok and really like where we are at! We are finding the AC only gets to 75 and some nights 73 and during the day goes all the way up to 82. So we are finding that we need some blankets at 75! Crazy. Any ways that is all for now!

We Made It!!!
So here we are. We made it! After a long day last monday we finally started packing the truck around 11am or so. (We picked it up at 8am) With some awesome help from people we started packing up. We were able to get everything pack about 7pm. We decided to hit the road. We started driving and made it to Beaver about 1am. We pulled over and stayed at a hotal for the next few hours, you see we thought the next day we could move in before 4:30pm. Once we called, we found out that was not the case. So we started to take our time driving. We enjoyed all the sights that both Southern Utah had to offer as well as Arizona. We stopped in Flagstaff and went to a park for some lunch and to just chill. We hung around for about 2 hours then got back on the road. We made it to Mesa about 7pm or so and decided to just take it easy in the hotal before our big move in day the next morning. Dad(art) and Joey met up with some friends of Dad's and Stef, Jessica, Jonathan and CJ hung back and got some room service. It was really good. We woke up the next day thinking that we could need this lady at 8am to get our keys, again this was not the case and that we needed to come back at 9am. We drove back to the Hotel and grabed everyone and the trucks and went back at 9am. Jessica checked us all in and before we knew it the place was ours. We started moving it all in! We looked around a bit and relized that we are going to like the layout better than our own house in Utah! We got everything moved in, in about 3 hours. We sat down to chill (or cool off) and noticed a few things. The Air conditioner was going full blast and it only got down to 80 degrees. Holy cow that is not cool at all so we thought! Compared to the 115 degrees outside we will take it! So we thought a nice cold glass of water. Well you guessed it no cold water! Well not cold in the sense we are used to it. It water out of the tap comes from a water tower that, well gets baked in the sun all day. It is just cool enough to take a shower but as for a tall glass of water, well that will come from the fridge. We have gotten everything moved in and Jessica has started school. She is way excited about it all and her classes will be so fun for her. Jonathan is still looking for a Job and is busy taking care of the new house and keeping the baby happy while mom is gone. There are some pictures below . Thanks for all your love and support and we will keep things updated now that we are settled a bit. Love you all!

This is the path from the car port to our front door. Noctice there are no plants or grass? The don't allow it here. We can plant things in pots which we will get too some day.
This is the side view of our house from the car port. Notice the little AC unit, needless to say we have five or so fans inside!
